Cops are looking for the suspect who rode up next to a young boys and assaulted him near a Flushing supermarket on Main Street in an unprovoked attack.

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a suspect who was riding an old e-bike near a market when he assaulted a young boy in a random attack on the night of Thursday, June 18, and remains at large.
Police say the 12-year-old victim was in the vicinity of Blossom Avenue and Main Street at around 9 p.m. when the bully approached him and, without saying a word, knocked the kid to the ground and then punched him in the face with a closed fist before riding off in an unknown direction. There was no verbal exchange between the suspect and the victim before the youngster was decked, according to a law enforcement source.
Officers from the 109th transported the youngster to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect on his e-bike near the Good Fortune Supermarket. He has a light complexion with dark hair and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and beige shorts and white sneakers.

A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.

Through June 28, the 109th Precinct has reported 237 felony assaults so far in 2026, 30 more than the 207 reported at the same point last year, an increase of 14.5%, according to the most recent CompStat report.
