NEW YORK (PIX11) — A fleet of majestic tall ships will sail through New York Harbor on Saturday in honor of 250 years of the nation.
The Sail4th 250 parade will bring over 30 tall ships from around the world to the Hudson River in the largest-ever flotilla. PIX11 will carry the Sail4th 250 parade on air, on PIX11+ streaming, and on the PIX11 website beginning at 10 a.m.

Sailors will parade the ships from the Verrazzano Bridge to the George Washington Bridge on Independence Day beginning at 9:30 a.m.
A massive formation of U.S. and international aircraft, led by the Blue Angels, will also fly in daring formations over the Verrazzano Bridge beginning at 10:15 a.m.
After that, the tall ships will anchor at Brooklyn Bridge Park, The Intrepid and Manhattan Cruise Terminal, South Street Seaport and Staten Island Waterfront Park for free viewings from July 5 to July 7 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Among the ships on display, over a dozen will represent the United States, including the 295-foot U.S. Coast Guard Cutter EAGLE. Dubbed “America’s Tall Ship,” it has been used to train Coast Guard cadets since 1946. It was acquired by America after being built in Germany in 1936 and remains the only active square-rigger in U.S. government service.
