Clear margin: Ekpharit Wu tees off during the third round on Saturday.
Ekpharit Wu takes a three-stroke lead into today’s final round of the Queen’s Cup Thailand Championship 2026 at the par-71 Riverdale Golf Club in Pathum Thani.
Ekpharit, who led by two shots after two rounds, fired a seven-under par 64 to move to 19-under 194 after the third round on Saturday.
The Thai-Taiwanese golfer is three shots ahead of Jazz Janewattananond, who hit a third-round six-under 65 while Nopparat Panichphol was third on 13 under after a five-under 66.
Ekpharit sank eight birdies in his near-perfect round at the 7,041-yard layout with his only bogey coming at the par-4 13th hole on Saturday.
Jazz, who shot seven birdies on Saturday, also bogeyed hole No.13 but ended his round with back-to-back birdies to remain in the title hunt.
Newport Laparojkit (67), KK Limbhasut (69), amateur Settawut Kenanan (69) and Pavit Tangkamolprasert (69) shared fourth place on 12 under.
Tawit Polthai, winner of the qualifying competition, was eight under for the tournament in a group of seven players including Prom Meesawat.
Sixty players made it to the weekend’s rounds while some of the biggest names missed the cut including two-time champion Prayad Marksaeng and Thaworn Wiratchant.
The Queen’s Cup Thailand Champi- onship offers a total prize money of 15 million baht, the richest purse in the history of professional golf in Thailand, with the winner receiving 2.1 million baht as well as the trophy bestowed by Her Majesty Queen Suthida.
Her Majesty will preside over the closing ceremony on Sunday.
