MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A theft resulted in an estimated loss of nearly $5,000 on Friday from a Manhattan fireworks stand in Manhattan, officials said.
The theft was reported around 8:55 a.m. Friday at a fireworks stand in the 4500 block of Anderson Avenue.
Riley County Police filed a report of a theft of property or services at approximately 8:55 a.m. on July 3 in the 4500 block of Anderson Avenue.

Officers listed a 44-year-old man as the victim when it was reported an unknown person stole the cash drawer and various items from a fireworks stand.
The total estimated loss associated with this case is $4,686.94.
