The NYC Health Department has confirmed 18 cases of Legionnaires’ disease on the Upper East Side.
The department says it’s sampling and testing water from all cooling tower systems in the area to reduce the risk of additional cases.
Dr. Alister Martin, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to talk about the the ongoing investigation.
