Multiple bar organizations and law leaders in Queens held a special event last week to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride in the borough’s court community.
The event, called “Queens Pride for All of Us,” was held on June 29 at the Queens County Civil Court in Jamaica. Special guests included Hon. Anthony Cannataro, New York State Court of Appeals Associate Judge, and Hon. Shahabuddeen Ally, Administrative Judge of the New York City Civil Court.
Among the organizations that hosted the event were the Queens County Bar Association’s LGBTQ+ Committee, Queens County Surrogates Court, Queens County Family Court and the LGBT Bar Association and Foundation of Greater New York.
The Hon. Michael Goldman was the master of ceremonies, while TRANScend provided live music for the affair.
