On June 9, QSAC, a NYC and Long Island based nonprofit that sup­ports children and adults with autism, held its annual fundraiser dinner at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Evan Metalios, Board Member and Board Treasurer, was hon­ored with the Bea­con Award. The award recognizes champions for people with intel­lectual and developmental disabil­ities who have made a meaningful and measurable difference in the lives of people with autism and their families through service, ad­vocacy, leadership, and philan­thropy.
