Clean energy advocates are hopeful this summer is filled with project development as they begin a so-called “summer of shovels.”

The ambitious goals include projects that are under construction or will kick off this summer including:

2,600 MW of utility-scale wind and solar
1,700 MW of offshore wind
1,000 MW of distributed solar generation

Capital Tonight was joined Wednesday by Marguerite Wells, of the Alliance for Clean Energy New York, to discuss these projects.
