BROOKLYN, N.Y. (KLTV) – Former Van Vandal Hoss Brewer made a scoreless appearance in Brooklyn’s 4-1 loss to Wilmington on Wednesday.
The right-hander is 2-3 this season with a 4.36 ERA in 33 innings pitched.
Brewer entered the game in the sixth inning. He allowed a leadoff single to Elijah Green before getting Jorgelys Mota to ground into a 4-3 double play. Brewer allowed a single to Jack Moroknek before getting Teo Banks to ground into a force out to end the inning.
Brewer threw seven pitches, five for strikes.
Brooklyn (32-49) and Wilmington (42-40) continue their series on Thursday.
