A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the torso in Borough Park, according to the NYPD.
The attack unfolded just after 8:30 p.m. Monday near 40th Street and 14th Avenue, steps from several businesses.
Police say the man knew his attacker, who took off running after the attack.
EMS took the 22-year-old to Maimonides Medical Center, where he is expected to recover, according to police.
