GRASMERE, Staten Island (PIX11) — Two teens were arrested after going for a joyride in a stolen SUV and crashing into a Staten Island home early Monday morning, police said.
A 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were travelling in a 2012 Nissan Rogue when they collided into the two-story building at 2 Grasmere Ave. near Mosel Avenue in Grasmere at around 4:55 a.m., police said.

Police said the 16-year-old was spotted driving recklessly before careening into the residence. The white Nissan barreled through a wooden fence before hitting a door of the home, according to video from the scene.
There were no injuries.
The teens fled the scene but were apprehended nearby, police said.
Authorities said the SUV was stolen in front of a home near Crossfield and Dorvale avenues on Staten Island at around 4 a.m. on Sunday.
The 16-year-old driver was charged with grand larceny, reckless endangerment, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, criminal possession of stolen property,a nd criminal mishief, police said.
