Hoylman-Sigal campaigned on the issues of protecting tenants and building affordable housing, improving schools, getting illegal guns off the streets and “protecting [New Yorkers’] civil liberties from the Trump administration.”

Just weeks ago, Hoylman-Sigal attended the “No Kings” march in Times Square in defiance of the Trump administration and its policies.

As state senator, Hoylman-Sigal represented Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, the Upper West Side and part of Central Park. He focused heavily on progressive reforms to housing, transportation, education, LGBTQ+ rights and other issues.
