To the Editor:
Hello residents of Brooklyn Park: I submit this letter in support of Mayor Hollies Winston for reelection because he has clearly demonstrated his capacity to lead our City of Brooklyn Park into the future to become a positive place for all of us to prosper and grow.
He has demonstrated his commitment to our youth by working on/providing youth spaces and activities for safe learning and engagement. Examples: the new teen space at the Zanewood Recreation Center and the youth workforce development program BrookLynk. He works with local groups to invest and support these goals for now and the future.
He has demonstrated his commitment for growth by supporting the planning and implementation of our Small Business Center, and working with the Council and community leaders to encourage small business growth.
Mayor Winston is engaged with the Council and other city, county, state and national leaders to develop and build the northwest corridor of Brooklyn Park to bring in large business companies. This designation and efforts will make our City more prosperous for all of us.
Lastly, I applaud our Mayor Winston’s constant efforts to be engaged with us residents, to keep us informed about our City’s efforts for safety, including having lowered the crime rates for our city, efforts for growth and for opportunities to safely enjoy our lives here in Brooklyn Park.
I encourage and urge you to vote in both the primary and general election to reelect Mayor Hollies Winston.
