Last night, Zendaya floated through the crowd with a pair of her very own wings. The actor, who portrays Athena in Christopher Nolan’s forthcoming adaptation of The Odyssey, has been channeling her inner goddess of war and wisdom throughout the entire press tour—but in New York City, she may have outdone herself. Working with stylist Law Roach, she showed up to the first United States premiere in a swirling white gown, draped and sculpted with precision by the team at Matières Fécales. Designed with a strapless silhouette, high slit, and long train, the gown was first crafted for the label’s debut couture show, walking the runway as the final look.

“Law asked us to save this dress for Z almost 2 years ago as it was our first couture finale look,” the designer shared on Instagram. “We kept our promise and turned down so many great requests but knew this was the right fit for such an important creation in our archive. This moment is so special and we are so grateful to be part of Law and Zendaya’s fearless vision and legacy.”

As for Zendaya’s co-stars, Anne Hathaway and Charlize Theron both opted for custom looks, working with Prada and Dior, respectively. For Hathaway, this meant a sequin criss-cross bodice and long, floor-sweeping ivory skirt; for Theron, it meant a little suit-inspired minidress with an exaggerated bow. Lupita Nyong’o shook things up with a gold Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown, Samantha Morton turned to Maison Margiela’s Fall 2026 collection, and Tom Holland tapped Fear of God.
