𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐱, 𝐍𝐘 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔– Police are on the hunt for a suspect accused of fatally shooting a woman.
The incident happened on Murdock Avenue just before midnight.
Police say the shooting happened at the intersection of Murdock and Nereid avenues, right next to Mount Saint Michael Academy, which is a very residential area.
An investigation into the shooting is underway, with police focusing on one particular vehicle at the crime scene that had what appeared to be a bullet hole in the window.
The victim, identified as Julia Anderson of Mount Vernon, was shot in the chest multiple times, according to the NYPD. Anderson was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
