NEW YORK (PIX11) — A number of city agencies are hiring, according to City jobs. 

Hundreds of positions are currently vacant, with 191 posted in the past month, according to the website. 

Some positions, such as those listed below, do not require a civil service exam.

New York City jobs offer pension plans, health benefits, paid holidays, and generous annual leave. 

The Office of the Mayor is seeking an Advanced Associate. The salary range is $80,000 to $90,000, according to the listing. Duties include planning and managing the logistics of official events, briefing the media and relevant guests, and working closely with the press. 

The Office of Emergency Management is hiring a Community Engagement Specialist with a salary range of $70,652.00 to $74,955.00. Duties include leading outreach to faith-based organizations, supporting community emergency networks throughout the emergency management cycle, and overseeing data collection and analysis for the unit. 

The Bronx District Attorney’s Office has a vacant Community Engagement Coordinator position. The listed salary is $70,000. Responsibilities include organizing, promoting, and scheduling internal and external events and conferences for the Bronx DA, as well as managing relationships with elected officials and important community figures. 

The New York City Housing Authority is hiring a Community Associate with an estimated salary of $44,545 to $74,134. Responsibilities include coordinating projects, preparing reports, refining existing metrics, and developing new ones.
