Tiffany Haddish created an optical illusion with her shoes at the 2026 ESPYs on Wednesday in New York. The comedian opted for a pair of 3D shoes by Gianvito Rossi that also fit into the metallic footwear trend that took over the red carpet at the award show.

Haddish, who is a fan of a strappy heel, opted for a pair of fun Gianvito Rossi sandals — the luxury footwear designer’s Bijoux style — in a rich metallic gold. Bijoux is a signature style from the brand. It’s designed with a delicate open round toe that flatters the feet.
The sandal is defined by two round-shaped, 3D-like puffy straps that provide more comfort. One padded strap wraps around the ankle, while the toe strap goes over the vamp, securing the foot in place. The shoes are crafted from lamb leather, and they are set on a slim 105mm stiletto heel. The style is completed with a zip at the back of the counter.
The shoes retail for $1,195 and are also available in black and a light pink napa leather. The brand also offers the sandals with padded straps in a mule, flat sandal and a double-strap slide, and they all come in a medley of colors like silver and lime green, as well as in a variety of heel heights and prices.
The “Girls Trip” star, who was styled by Wayman + Micah, paired the gold heels with a vibrant red halterneck dress with a tasseled hem from Khanum. The design was the Kiran dress, which is crafted from a slinky, textured jersey material.

The 2026 ESPY Awards were held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, bringing the awards back to New York for the first time since 1999. “Saturday Night Live” cast member Marcello Hernández hosted the ceremony, while Jalen Brunson and Shohei Ohtani led the nominees with three nominations each. This year’s show also introduced three social-only categories, including Best Tunnel Fit, which put athletes’ pregame style in the awards mix alongside Best Celebration and Best Sports Card.
