Scholar Athlete of the Month: Brooklyn Mueller | Scholar Athlete of the Month

Mueller averaged a 3.8 GPA throughout her freshman year, with her favorite subject being Agriculture Biology.

RED BLUFF, Calif. – Red Bluff High School Sophomore Brooklyn Mueller is our July Scholar Athlete of the Month, presented by the Chico Sports Club.

Mueller averaged a 3.8 GPA throughout her freshman year, with her favorite subject being Agriculture Biology.

Mueller grew up riding horses after school with her dad and cousins. She has 11 horses in total, including 5 that she uses to compete in rodeos with.

Since the 5th grade, Mueller says she’s competed in high school rodeos, and the Red Bluff Jr. Round Up, every year.

I asked Mueller what her favorite part is when it comes to competing with her horses. “It’s so rewarding to see all of my hard work pay off once I get into the rodeo. Once you get in there and you just feel how well you connect with your horse, it’s just so rewarding deep down.”

Mueller says she wants to be either a 1st-grade, 2nd-grade, or FFA teacher.

In her upcoming sophomore campaign, Mueller says she wants to be more involved with FFA trips.

She also plans to remain a member of the District 1 High School Rodeo Association.
