As the FIFA World Cup 2026 enters its final phase, HITN Media, the nation’s leading Spanish-language public television network serving Hispanic audiences, is celebrating the successful transformation of its iconic Brooklyn Navy Yard rooftop into the New York broadcast headquarters for New World TV’s summer soccer coverage.

PGS Group, a leading international media services company, managed the production, converting HITN’s waterfront studios into a world-class international broadcast center delivering FIFA World Cup 2026™ coverage to more than 90 million viewers across Sub-Saharan Africa.

After evaluating multiple New York City locations, New World TV selected HITN’s 23,000-square-foot rooftop terrace for its panoramic Manhattan skyline views and the technical infrastructure required to support a large-scale live broadcast operation.

Over the course of the tournament, approximately 40 international broadcast professionals worked from the Brooklyn campus, producing live programming from presentation studios, production offices, and a technical operations hub supported by HITN Media’s state-of-the-art facilities.

Project management for HITN Media was led by Juan Pablo Santos of Wood Creek Road Productions, coordinating the production, operational, vendor, and partner requirements that made the international broadcast hub possible.

Michael D. Nieves, President and CEO of HITN expressed: “As the tournament reaches its conclusion, this project has demonstrated the extraordinary capabilities of HITN Media’s Brooklyn studios as a premier destination for international media production,”.

The successful execution of the project reinforces HITN Media’s Brooklyn Navy Yard campus as one of New York City’s premier destinations for live television, major sporting events, and large-scale international productions, demonstrating its ability to support complex global broadcasts for audiences across multiple continents.
