A Manhattan man has been arrested in connection with a rape investigation that began last year, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Chad Len Mouton Jr., 21, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:39 p.m. Thursday, July 16, on one count of rape involving sexual intercourse without consent and the use of force.
The charge stems from a report originally filed in November 2025. Police said a 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim and the suspect was known to the victim.
Mouton was issued a total bond of $150,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.
Police said no further information will be released because the investigation remains ongoing.
