Life-threatening storms are threatening to put a serious damper on Saturday plans, with tornadoes, flooding, hail and damaging wind all possible throughout the day.
The storms are set to arrive as early as 10 a.m. Saturday, and could intensify through the afternoon and into the evening.
The most likely threats are damaging winds and flash flooding, with a flood watch issued for much of the area. There is an elevated risk of tornadoes as well, with nearly all of the tri-state in the “more likely” zone for them. Hail is also possible.
