Detectives are looking for a brute who punched an 81-year-old woman in Queens on Thursday.
According to police sources, the incident unfolded at around 7:45 a.m. on July 16 in Jackson Heights. Cops say the senior was standing near The Queens Temple Corps Community Center located at 86-07 35 Ave. when a man engaged her in a verbal dispute.
The octogenarian suffered a laceration and complained of pain. EMS whisked her to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was listed in stable condition.
Meanwhile, the suspect fled on foot. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and a baseball cap.
Felony assaults are down by over 22% in the confines of the 115th Precinct, according to the latest NYPD data.
No arrests have been made in this case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
