New York man injures two in knife fight at Taylor Park in St. Albans

A New York man has been charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment after two people were injured in a knife fight at Taylor Park.

The St. Albans Police Department said officers responded to the park just after midnight and found a Vermont man who had been cut and stabbed. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were able to use a description provided by the victim to trace the man and woman involved in the fight to the hospital.

The suspect, Thomas Testa, 30, of Rexford, NY, was arrested and charged with the incident.

A woman who was with Testa was treated for injuries from the fight and released from the hospital.

Testa is due in court Monday afternoon to answer the charges.
