NEW YORK (PIX11) — Police have identified the woman killed as a result of a fatal injection of anti-aging “therapy solution” in the Bronx.

27-year-old Elizabeth Baron, of the Bronx, died Sunday at NewYork-Presbyterian Allen Hospital after she was rushed there from Bereshit Lifestyle Center on Riverdale Avenue that afternoon, police said.

Authorities believe 55-year-old Luis Rojas Cabrera gave Baron the fatal injection as an unlicensed practitioner. Cabrera is licensed in the Dominican Republic, but not the U.S. or New York, police said.

Cabrera is listed on the lifestyle center’s website as an M.D., surgeon and naturopath.

He was charged with reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of a profession, according to police. Authorities said charges could be upgraded, depending on how the toxicology report comes back.
