A 34-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Queens apartment early Tuesday — and a man investigators believe may be connected to her slaying was found dead inside a nearby park hours later, police said.
Police responding to a 12:24 a.m. 911 call for an assault found the woman stabbed dead inside her home on 41st St. near 19th Ave. in Astoria.
The victim’s 34-year-old husband was described by police as a person of interest.
About six hours later, a man in his early 30s was found dead two miles away in Astoria Park near Astoria Park South and Shore Blvd., police said. No criminality is suspected in the man’s death.
Investigators are working to determine the dead man’s identity and looking into if his death is connected to the woman’s slaying.
