Brooklyn detectives are looking for the gunman responsible for a late-night shooting at a McDonald’s restaurant that left three teenagers wounded.
Police said the gunfire erupted outside the fast-food joint located at 835 Pennsylvania Ave., between Stanley Avenue and Linden Boulevard, in New Lots just before midnight on July 20.
Officers from the 75th Precinct rushed to the location after receiving reports that multiple people had been shot. When they arrived, they found a 17-year-old girl with multiple gunshot wounds throughout her body, and a 19-year-old man with a bullet wound to his face outside of a McDonald’s restaurant. An 18-year-old male also suffered lacerations to his face after he fell and hit his head during the shooting.
All three victims were rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where they are expected to survive.

A motive for the shooting remains unknown at this time. So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.
Sources familiar with the investigation report that several shell casings were found at the scene. Detectives were also looking to canvass security cameras in and around the McDonald’s location, hoping to get a glimpse of a gunman that will help track him down.

As of July 12, shootings in the confines of the 75th Precinct are slightly up by 9.1%. However, the number of shooting victims are down by 6.9%.
