NEW YORK STATE, USA — The New York State Gaming Commission is warning about a Mega Millions imposter scam that is targeting residents in multiple states.

According to the Gaming Commission, residents reported receiving a call form someone that claimed to be a high-ranking official with Mega Millions. The caller allegedly tells victims that they won $18.6 million and two Mercedes-Benz vehicles. However, the caller claims that the victims need to pay taxes immediately or else the check and vehicle warranties expire.
