Michael Rapaport is not one to hold back his opinions.
On Tuesday, the “Only Murders in the Building” actor took to social media to react to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani threatening to arrest Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“The United States of America… ain’t part of the ICC, you f—. The United States of America doesn’t recognize the ICC as credible, dumb f—,” Rapaport said in a nearly two-minute-long rant on X. “You know that, because out of all the things you are, you ain’t dumb, dumb f—. …
“You ain’t arresting nobody… The ICC, okay? It’s not recognized by the United States of America. Maybe you don’t recognize things that the United States of America recognizes. That’s a conversation for another rant, scumbag. Okay? But everybody else does.”
Mamdani made the threat Sunday, saying it centered on upholding international human rights standards centered on upholding international human rights standards and recognizing the authority of the International Criminal Court (ICC), which issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu over alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Rapaport, who also appeared in “True Romance” and “Higher Learning,” is an outspoken advocate for Israel and Jewish issues.
Rapaport has repeatedly voiced concern over Mamdani’s leadership regarding antisemitism in NYC. He argues that Mamdani’s foreign policy views make him ill-equipped to safeguard the city’s Jewish community.
