More than 5,000 flights had been canceled or delayed by 2 p.m. ET Tuesday, as severe storms loom over the Big Apple and states throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

FlightAware’s “Misery Map” showed LaGuardia Airport leading with the most disruptions between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and JFK and Newark airports not far behind.

The tracker reported 3,590 total delays within, into, or out of the US so far Tuesday, and 1,613 cancellations.
