City Council Member Virginia Maloney has teamed up with other neighborhood officials to demand Mayor Mamdani and the NYPD take action against an encampment under the Franklin D. Roosevelt Drive, near 23rd Street.
In an interview on “Mornings on 1,” Maloney said she is concerned due to several recent incidents, including an attack on a security guard and breaches at the nearby United Nations school.
