Half of the city’s priciest neighborhoods are in Brooklyn

BOROUGHWIDE — ALMOST HALF OF the priciest residential real estate in New York City is now in Brooklyn, according to PropertyShark’s latest report on the city’s 50 most expensive neighborhoods. In Brooklyn, 23 neighborhoods made the list.

Carroll Gardens was the borough’s priciest neighborhood, and the city’s fourth-highest overall, with a median $2.68 million sale price, which doubled year-over-year. 

Other high-priced Brooklyn neighborhoods include the Columbia Street Waterfront District, DUMBO, Park Slope, Fort Greene and Cobble Hill, according to the report.
