ISABELLA DE VEGA (IRE) (Lope De Vega {Ire}) is an intriguing runner for the Ed Walker stable racing in the Opulence Thoroughbreds silks, being a full-sister to the Jenny Wiley dead-heater Expensive Queen who was a 350,000gns purchase at Tattersalls October Book 1. Also a full-sibling of the classy Antonia De Vega, she encounters Jaber Abdullah’s fellow newcomer Diamond New Bay (Ire) (New Bay {GB}), a daughter of the Lowther winner Queen Kindly (Frankel) who represents the Karl Burke stable. Interestingly, he won this two years ago with Darnation and if this one wins she will undoubtedly be off to York to try and emulate her dam, second dam Lady Of The Desert and third dam Queen’s Logic by getting herself on the Lowther honour roll.
