The quarter-mile track sits five floors up, just high enough to get above the streetside noise below. Not only is it ready for fitness, the track also serves as an escape, a place where people can stretch their legs during a remote workday and take calls without being far from home.
“When we designed Sky Three’s amenity program, we wanted to create more than a collection of impressive spaces – we wanted wellness to feel like a natural part of everyday life. The quarter-mile outdoor track gives residents a rare opportunity in New York City to run, walk, take calls, get their steps in or simply step outside for some fresh coastal air without ever leaving home. The freedom and flexibility that the track brings has made it one of the building’s most beloved amenities and something prospective residents can immediately picture becoming part of their own routine,” Aaron Polinsky of Cammeby’s International, the property developer, told Newsweek.
While the track is a prominent piece of the wellness story of Sky Three, it is joined by other amenities to make the property intriguing to potential residents, including Brooklyn’s largest residential pool, two pickleball courts and a basketball court, a full-service fitness center and yoga and movement studio, saunas, a massage room, and a Zen garden.
There’s also an arts and crafts studio and an outdoor playground. The building’s Sky Mocha Café serves as a coffee shop for residents, who also have access to a pet spa, bicycle storage and on-site enclosed parking with 150 electric vehicle charging stations.
Sky Three, which opened in November 2025, isn’t alone in offering wellness amenities to its residents. A host of new and planned residences have opened their doors and revealed plans for similar, though none have gone so far as to showcase a running track.
