Children are filling a busy New York City street with laughter as a set of giant, glow-in-the-dark seesaws turns Herald Square into an incredible interactive playground.The free public installation, titled Impulse, has quickly become a massive hit with kids and families in Midtown Manhattan. Created by Montreal designers Lateral Office and CS Design and presented by the 34th Street Partnership, the setup features eight oversized seesaws that react to every bounce with glowing LED lights and fun, dynamic soundscapes.Footage captured by content creator @eloiseknyc shows joyful youngsters taking turns on the oversized beams at Herald Square, lighting up the sidewalk and bringing smiles to everyone passing by. As the kids ride together, their movement controls the lights and sound, turning playfulness into a live light show right in the heart of the city.
