STATEWIDE — BROOKLYN ROASTING WORKS LLC has issued a food safety recall for its product “Brooklyn Roasting Company Pasteurized Cold Brew Concentrate,” packaged as a 2.5 gallon bag-in-box, with best-by codes 063026 through 093026.
According to a notice on the Food and Drug Administration website, the coffee was recalled because “ambient temperature storage” may permit the growth of Clostridium botulinum. The product was distributed in New York and New Jersey between April 4 and June 20.
Brooklyn Roasting Works is headquartered in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, with several local cafés plus online sales.
