Radio City Music Hall is one of my favorite places to catch concerts, and if you have been thinking about going, you need need to go ASAP.

Big-name artists, such as Role Model, Shaboozey and the Rockettes, are performing at Radio City Music Hall, and these are shows you definitely want to secure good seats for.

Plus, tickets sell out for this venue all the time, so you’ll want to have an idea of where you want to sit in advance.

Here is a breakdown of the seating arrangements for Radio City Music Hall to help you plan where you want to sit for your next show.

Orchestra

Just like with a pit at any other music venue, this view is going to give you the best view of the artist you’re seeing.

There’s an Orchestra pit you can sit in, as well as Orchestra seating in section 1-7 and individuals who have sat here rave about great the views are in this particular area.

There are truly barely any critiques of this section, besides little comments that some aisle seats cannot see tiny parts of the side stage, but nothing takes away from the overall view.

One viewer who sat in Orchestra 1 who saw “The Christmas Spectacular” wrote on A View From My Seat, “Great seat with full view of the stage and ceiling projections. Only the far right part of the screen was obstructed. Santa comes out right in front of this location!”

First Mezzanine

Just like with Orchestra section, there are really no bad reviews at all from this area, and it offers a great view of the stage.

The First Mezzanine section covering the areas 1-7, and really all sections will give you a very clear and close view of the stage.

One person however who sat in section 3 of the Mezzanine for a recent Laufey concert there wrote on A View From My Seat, “Very good seats!! I wish I was closer but good seats for the price! We couldn’t make-out her face from these seats tho- just keep that in mind! But could see her set very nicely and did get some good.”

Someone who sat in Mezzanine 2 wrote, “Luxurious seat. Good shoulder room, leg room – don’t have to leave my seat to let someone out of the aisle.”

Overall, this is deemed a really good section for the price, and you really won’t be disappointed.

Second Mezzanine

The Second Mezzanine also has really good reviews, and is a section I have personally sat in before and really enjoyed my view from.

This seating area ranges from section 1-7, like the First Mezzanine, and the reviews on A View From My Seat are very positive.

Someone who sat in Mezzanine section 3 that they sat in the, “Front row, no obstructions, perfect view of the entire stage and surrounding effects. Ideal view for the Rockettes!”

There are many other reviews raving about the leg room and the comfortable seating, which I definitely experienced when I sat in this area.

If there were any negative reviews on A View From My Seat, it was just that they felt a tad far away from the stage.

Third Mezzanine

This is the final mezzanine section at Radio City Music Hall, and this section has really great reviews, even for it being all the way in the back.

Again, like every mezzanine before it, the Third Mezzanine has sections 1-7, and there are many people on A View From My Seat that rave about the view.

However, one reviewer who gave a two star rating on A View From My Seat wrote that being so high up did make them feel sick.

Someone else in Mezzanine Three wrote, “If you are particularly short you may have difficulty seeing around the barrier. Seats are velvet and were a little itchy. Great audio.”
