A Tim Hortons that spent years preparing to open on 8th Avenue has been evicted from its storefront just four months after finally welcoming customers.

A City Marshal’s notice declaring the landlord in legal possession of 936 8th Avenue was posted on the locked cafe this week. Inside, keys, replacement locks and locksmith equipment remained scattered across a table.
