A 47-year-old man is dead of severe head trauma following a confrontation over a car crash on the Belt Parkway in Queens early Sunday, cops said.

Police responding to an assault in progress found Crisaine Dockery unconscious on the Belt Parkway at Farmers Blvd. at about 1:15 a.m., cops said. A second man, 39, suffered minor injuries to his arm, police said.

47yr old Crisanie Dockery, who was inside a vehicle traveling eastbound on the Belt Parkway just west of Exit 21-B for Farmers Boulevard, said vehicle having been involved in a minor collision, was rendered unconscious and unresponsive after someone from the other involved vehicle struck him in the head, allegedly with a baseball bat, causing severe head trauma before fleeing the scene in Queens on Sunday July 26, 2026. 0949. Medics took Dockery, of Springfield Gardens, to Jamaica Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved. An NYPD spokeswoman couldn’t say Sunday how he sustained his injuries, but police sources said he was involved in a crash before he was hurt.

Police are referring to his death as a homicide.

Cops were looking for two people who fled the scene, one of whom wore a black tracksuit with a stripe on the pants.

Cops have made no arrests.
