11/5; 4 p.m.—An 18-year-old male is in custody after stealing a marked New York State Police patrol vehicle.
The New York State Police reported that on Nov. 5, at around 5 a.m., troopers from Oneonta were alerted to a burglary at Accurate Auto and Truck Repair in Davenport.
A State Police patrol vehicle, which was being serviced, was stolen.
At approximately 6 a.m., troopers found the vehicle on Interstate 90 in Schodack, Rensselaer County.
They located the teenager inside and arrested him without any issues.
He was arraigned in the Town of Schodack Court and charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
Investigators from Troop C also charged him with burglary and grand larceny.
The investigation is still ongoing.

ONEONTA, N.Y. — A marked New York State Police patrol vehicle was reported stolen early Wednesday morning.
New York State Police said troopers from Oneonta were alerted to a burglary at a local repair shop on Nov. 5.
A State Police vehicle undergoing service was taken from the premises.
The vehicle was later found and recovered in Rensselaer County.
NYSP said a person inside the vehicle was taken into custody and is being interviewed by investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
