Another summer day, another chance for powerful storms to inundate the New York City area.

Tuesday’s storms are most likely to bring the chance for flash flooding, but also could bring damaging straight line winds and even the chance for tornadoes. A flood watch is in effect until Wednesday night.

Central and South Jersey look to be the most at-risk for severe weather, but storms could hit anywhere in the tri-state and bring a deluge of rain at a moment’s notice.
