NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Is love truly blind, and are you willing to risk it? If you live in New York City, now you can.
For the first time, Love Is Blind, the Netflix dating series, is casting singles in the city.
The show begins with a speed‑dating format for 30 men and women, each paired in pods separated by a wall. Contestants talk without seeing one another and must get engaged before ever meeting face‑to‑face to go onto the next phase.
The first time couples see each other is during the engagement reveal, when the doors open.
After getting engaged, couples move into a trial‑living period before heading to a wedding ceremony, where they decide whether to say, “I do” or “I don’t.”

All applicants must be 21 or older and a U.S. citizen.
The company is also casting in Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Tennessee and Nevada, prompting questions about whether singles from multiple states will be combined into one season. Click here to apply.
