BOROUGHWIDE — NATIONAL NIGHT OUT, an annual event that brings communities together with their local police precincts for an evening of entertainment, activities, food and music, will take place Tuesday in neighborhoods across the city. Many NNO events are scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m., though some locations run from 3 to 7 p.m.
Participating precincts in Brooklyn include the 84th Precinct Community Council’s popular get-together in Brooklyn Bridge Park at the Pier 5 Picnic Peninsula from 5 to 8 p.m., with entertainment by the Gowanus Wildcats plus a guest DJ, free burgers, pizza, ices, snacks and ice cream, and give-aways.
Other confirmed NNO locations in Brooklyn include the 78th Precinct at Fourth Street next to JJ Byrne Park; the 76th Precinct at the Red Hook Community Center; the 77th Precinct in Brower Park; the 75th Precinct at Sutter Avenue between Schneck Avenue and Barbey Street; the 69th Precinct at Seaview Canarsie Park; the 61st Precinct at 2575 Coney Island Avenue; the 78th Precinct in Washington Park; the 72nd Precinct at the Sunset Park Soccer Field; and the 90th Precinct at Rodney Park/Strawberry Park.
The New York Police Department’s website was not updated with 2026 NNO locations by press time. Check your precinct’s social media for exact times and events.
