PARK SLOPE — CONCERTS ON THE SLOPE continues its 2025-26 season this Sunday, Nov. 9, with an hour-long chamber music performance at St. John’s Church. The program, titled “Vignettes,” features Felix Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D minor, Op. 49, alongside a challenging 20th-century piano trio by American composer Frederic Rzewski. The concert begins at 3 p.m. at 139 St. Johns Place, just off Seventh Avenue. Tickets are $25 or free for those under 18.

Concerts on the Slope presents a season of approximately 11 concerts a year “featuring gems of the chamber music canon alongside new works by the Composer in Residence and other emerging and established contemporary composers,” according to the organization.
