BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Brooklyn FC Women have renewed midfielder Kristina (Kiki) Markovic for the Gainbridge Super League 2026 fall season, pending league and federation approval, it was announced on Thursday.
During her first season with Brooklyn FC, Markovic appeared in 10 matches, with three starts and 223 minutes. Before joining Brooklyn FC, she played for FC Rapperswil‑Jona in the Swiss Women’s Super League, where she made 36 league appearances and scored five goals.
“In a 14-match season, you need midfielders who can do more than one job, and Kiki is one of those,” Brooklyn FC women’s head coach Alex Smith said in a statement. “She has European and international experience behind her. My job now is to put her in the positions that showcase the quality she has.”
Markovic joined Brooklyn FC in August 2025 before the Super League Season.
Additional roster transactions and announcements will be released in the coming weeks.
