Little Island kicked off its schedule of summer programming Wednesday night.
The public park on the Hudson River has become a performance space, theater hall and dance party venue for the next six weeks. While many of the shows are already sold out, remaining tickets are priced at $25 or free, as organizers aim to make performing arts accessible to all New Yorkers.
Zack Winokur, the producing artistic director of Little Island, joined “The Rush Hour” on Thursday to talk more about the performances and culinary events.
