Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day supports children’s hospitals by donating $1 per Blizzard sold, with funds aiding local healthcare for kids in need.
TYLER, Texas — Talk about a sweet treat on a hot day while helping children in need.
Thursday, July 31 marks Dairy Queen’s annual Miracle Treat Day. For every Blizzard treat sold, at least $1 is donated to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The funds help provide life-saving treatments, specialized equipment and other essential services for children in need.

“We have a couple of employees who have actually been patients at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, and they’re very enthusiastic about serving customers and helping raise money for kids in need,” said Gabriel McClaskey, general manager of one of the Tyler Dairy Queens.
While classic flavors such as Oreo and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup remain fan favorites, this year’s Miracle Treat Day also features an international twist. Inspired by a summer filled with global soccer excitement, Texas locations are offering a limited-edition Blizzard Treat Cup lineup.
“We’ve raised about $200 million over the last 42 years to support pediatric hospitals, and we’re looking forward to serving the community today,” McClaskey said.
All of the money raised in East Texas stays within the local region, helping support children’s healthcare close to home.
