MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated assault and cruelty to animals.
The Riley County Police Department said that on Thursday around 10:35 a.m., officers filed a report for aggravated assault, theft of property or services, criminal use of a financial card, aggravated kidnapping, and cruelty to animals.
The incident was reported in the 1000 block of Westloop Plaza.
The Kansas State Bank and a 22-year-old woman were listed as victims while a 24-year-old man was listed as the suspect.
According to RCPD, Kieshawn Valorean Nolan, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:25 p.m. in the 600 block of Poyntz Avenue in connection with the incident.
Nolan was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
