Local music is coming to the 2026 Sweet Corn Festival Queen Pageant.
The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7 at the First State Bank stage on U.S. Route 34 in downtown Mendota.
The Mendota High School Jazz Choir and Marching Band will provide pre-pageant and intermission entertainment for visitors at the pageant, according to a news release from the Mendota Area Chamber of Commerce.
The sound and entertainment at the pageant is made possible by the sponsorship of Eureka Savings Bank of Mendota, according to the release.
