Police say a 50-year-old man was shot and killed early Monday morning in Van Nest.
The NYPD says police responded to 672 Sagamore St. at around 6 a.m. for a shooting.
Police say the 50-year-old victim was shot multiple times throughout the body.
An eyewitness told News 12 they watched the violence unfold.
“First I heard the moped crash, then I seen the black truck. Someone got out, went over to him and seven shots,” said the eyewitness.
Other neighbors say the loud pops were inevitable to miss.
A man named Danny, who lives with his wife and son across the street from the crime scene,” says his 8-year-old son was awakened by the shots.
“My son came out screaming when he heard the shot. And it was about seven shots,” he said.
