About Felina Steak House
Felina Steak House has been a favorite in the New Jersey steakhouse scene for quite some time now, with locations in Ridgewood, Summit, and Jersey City. Felina’s South Orange location is the newest addition to the family, bringing a unique fine dining spot with outdoor seating and live music — all inside a historic, 100-year-old building.
We love Felina for its unique vibes and focus on activities + events. It’s one of the only spots in the area to try cooking and cocktail classes (straight from the pros!), hosts exclusive wine dinners, and hosts a Summer Sounds live music series every Friday from 6PM to 9PM on the patio.
BTW: Felina’s interior is absolutely gorgeous, and accepts bookings for private dining, weddings, and the like, so don’t hesitate to inquire here if you’re looking for a venue.
The Menu
Felina’s range of options is huge, with plenty of steak, seafood, and locally sourced meat entrees. Parisa from Team MG had a chance to try out some dishes and loved the selection. The house-made focaccia with pickled olives + eggplants was a great starter, the Maine Lobster Cocktail was delish and tasted super fresh, and the bone marrow-wrapped filet mignon was perfectly salted and tender.
Come for the steak, stay for the dessert. We tried the peach bread pudding, chocolate mousse, and chocolate gelato, and all three are perfectly sweet + rich. If you have a sweet tooth after the main meal, we totally recommend – and in fact, there’s an exclusive incentive for MG readers too.
